What is the GFC?

The 48 Hour Global Film Challenge is an international short filmmaking event presented by the 48 Hour Film Project. 380 teams around the world received an assignment: a genre, a character, a prop and a line of dialogue. Then they had only 48 hours to write, shoot and edit a short film.

Judging and Online Voting 44 cites were represented in the competition, and local film professionals judged the films and named the city winners.

Now, it's your turn to help decide the Best Film of the Global Film Challenge. Through a number of rounds, online audiences will watch the films and vote for their favorites. The first rounds will determine the Country Winners. Then there will be a live drawing to determine the Country Group Stage matchups. The voting culminates in Country Winners going head to head to determine the top film.
